Box Hill Veterinary Clinic was first established in 1973. In 1995 Dr Elaine Ong purchased the practice, and since this time, the practice has grown both in size, expertise, and reputation.
To accommodate this growth we relocated in December 1998, to the new purpose built facility in Mont Albert, where we will aim to provide the highest possible standards in service and Veterinary care.
The hospital has been developed in a building that is 50 years old. It was a medical practitioner's surgery and residence for many years and the original consulting room now houses our modern operating theatre.
From the 1970's to the time of development it was used as a residence. One of the purposes in the redevelopment process was to preserve the charming Old English exterior while having a high class facility inside.
The features of the hospital include human-hospital-grade quality floor coverings, ventilation and heating/cooling systems all designed to minimise infection, as well as top quality veterinary facilities.
